Gardens
Bistritsa and Kampenhout have beautiful rivers in common. The Weesbeek has his source in the clean Silsombos in the Brussels area and a mountain brook crosses the garden in Bistritsa. Lieven has a collection of more than 1000 fruit trees with 25 different species and about 165 different fruit varieties. The garden is ecologically pastured with Castlemilk Moorit and Mouflon, Racka type of sheep. The gardens are home to some native endangered plants and animals like kingfisher, European turtle dove and orchids.

Bistritsa
Bistritsa is a little house in the mountain where he spends time with Cathy Wautier and his 3 sons Daan, Francois and Simon.
His oldest son Daan Gevaert resides mostly in Oud Turnhout and 2 younger sons in Kampenhout, Belgium. The family also enjoys staying in Gent at Lieven parents house especially during Gentse Feesten.
